| Work Experience |
Here is a brief list of some of my experiences required for this position:
* I am the university co-president for ISA (Ismaili Student Association), where I assist Frosh students when transitioning into university life. I advice students not within just the spiritual aspect but also within the social aspects that all students face when entering university. I act as a liaison between the ISA and the Religion Education Board of Toronto. Much teamwork is required in this position, with a positive attitude as I represent the community and the students look up to me as a role model.
* I was a mentor for a year for exchange students where I helped them in transitioning into a new environment and country. Then I became president of this club (LIFE - Laurier International Friendship Extension) where I organized programs and orientation week for the students in order to become familiar with the university and the city. This was where I would communicate with exchange students in their own language, french or spanish, and aid them in their assignments by translating the instructions to them.
* I used to be a Baitul-Ilm teacher assistant (Saturday School) for Willowdale (within my community), for grade one students and grade four students. Eventually I was given the responsibility of creating lesson plans.
* For a while, I volunteered to tutor Afghani students math and English every once a week.
* I worked as a counsellor at Ridgeford Camp for students aged 7 to 12 years old, where I was to take on the head position when organizing field trips and outdoor activities
* I have been an ECE assistant at Thunder Grove Daycare centre for a summer volunteer position. I organized the daily activities and games then recorded the events that occurred during that day into the daily journal. This is where I learned to apply theory to experience by creating conclusions of the daily events.

| Additional Comments |
I am a very passionate individual and I have the drive to succeed. It is my career goal to be a languages teacher, and therefore would like to further my studies in teacher's college. I love to be challenged and tested on my skills on how much I am able to inspire students. I enjoy learning from the experience because there is always something new to learn from it, and I feel I have had much experience to be tested on and I can finally gain new insight on a different experience.
