I spent the majority of 2009 traveling extensively through Europe (Ireland, the UK, Holland, Belgium, Germany, Poland, Spain, France, Switzerland and Italy) prior to spending the summer in Whistler, Canada. In the past, I have vacationed with family to Europe, the United States, Mexico and Caribbean Islands. I most enjoy meeting new people, exploring other cultures, experiencing different cuisines and learning the history of how we came to be.
* Writing and Photography
I maintain a blog of my time abroad and enjoy capturing my travels on film. I also publish photos and videos online to stay connected with those back home.
* Making Music
At the age of 8, I began learning how to play the piano. Playing piano became the gateway to learning other instruments and contributed to my love of music and singing.
* Outdoor Activities
Be it mountain biking in the summertime or snowboarding in the winter, I am most content in high-energy pursuits. However, I also enjoy hiking, recreational rowing, playing tennis, a relaxing walk with my dog and the occasional game of golf.
